In addition to the “barefoot feeling” that is a feature of the DS LIGHT series, we are pursuing holdability of the heel. The shape of the heel counter has been updated to improve stability so that high performance can be demonstrated even during intense movement.A heel counter is placed to firmly hold the calcaneus, which is the largest of the heel bones. In addition, the thickness is also adjusted so that it can be properly held even when the weight is applied to the heel. Platinum kangaroo leather is used on the front of the upper (instep). The internal foam material has been changed from low density to high density, and the thickness has been changed from 3 mm to 4 mm to pursue a sense of luxury and softness when touched. It also has MOIS TECT processing that does not harden even after use in the rain. The inside of the sole has a concave design to weaken rigidity, and the outside has a convex design to strengthen rigidity. We have adopted a new design that allows inner twisting by balancing the strength of the inner and outer parts, while suppressing outer twisting.
